Strace Monitoring Real Time!!

hi,

im,a postgraduate student from Malaysia.im doing intrusion analysis using system call pattern.Currently, strace works fine, but how do i make it run real time and continously so that when an intrusion is taking place,strace could analyze the system calls,instead of running it manually?.

i hope,i could get few suggestions,and hope to share my results as its getting interesting when analyzing the pattern of attacks.
