Most of them definitely worth testing.

There are some differences in the way how processes are attached/detached
with/without -p option, but syscall filtering mechanism shouldn't be
affected.

We have some multi-process tests.  I'm not sure I understand your

Yes if they really test strace and not the underlaying operating system.
