Hi Dmitry, Hi Roland,
It would be really nice to have a new maintainer for strace, since it seems
that all patches sent to Roland go directly to /dev/null ...

No, I don't think so.
I maintain strace package on a regular basis several years yet, and
I suppose that my work may be useful for other strace maintainers.
Traditionally I just submit patches upstream, but now Roland seems
to be busy, so I announced my public strace package repository.
