Hi, I just came across style checking script for patches used by linux kernel: http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/scripts/checkpatch.pl. Some modifications will be required to fit strace's coding standards(like switch case indentations), but I don't think that it's hard. I think 20 days should be enough, Do you see it as a part of strace?
