You can start by tell us a little bit more about yourself, and what
you can do. Do you have any example of past contribution in something
somewhat related to strace, or the task you want to apply for? After that,
you should familiarize yourself with the strace code base, and come
with a good proposition for the features. The subject is a bit blurry,
that is partly because we expect some kind of research on your part.

A first contribution should also be a good idea. You can search the
mailing list archives to see something that can be done.
