GSoC, strace (structured output)

Hello, I am Pavan Koli. I am interested in the project idea of getting
structured strace output.

I have some doubts, I've referred the mail archives(2014-15). I was not
able to get the code of GSOC 2014 of the same project.

My Questions-
1.Do I need to start from scratch?

2.If I need to start from scratch, Will it be better to use MessagePack
instead of JSON?

3.Where should I start from, I've downloaded the entire code?
