Not only with signals, IPC decoding also seems to be broken on alpha:
SYS_ipc_subcall is naturally not defined, but indirect_ipccall()
returns 1 there.  Could you confirm that, e.g. by checking whether
"strace -eipc ipcs" outputs crap or not, please?
